3D printing workshops set for November
After the success of the popular 3D printing lecture series, Hutt City Libraries is holding a series of introductory workshops designed for beginners.
The 3D printing workshop sessions will be held in four locations across Hutt City, with the first starting on Monday 10 November at the War Memorial Library.
The workshops, led by creative engineer Hamish Trolove, will offer a general introduction to 3D printing and provide a practical experience, with each attendee having the opportunity to produce a unique 3D object to take home.
Sandra Mann, Divisional Manager Libraries says, "The workshops allow for a personalised hands-on 3D printing experience. It's about putting the theory into practice and learning a new and exciting digital skill."
Bookings to attend the workshops can be made through Hutt City Libraries and are highly recommended owing to limited space. Tickets cost $40.00.
