New Chairman appointed to Napier Port
Hawke’s Bay Regional Investment Company Ltd has appointed local businessman Alasdair MacLeod as the new Chairman of Napier Port (Port of Napier Ltd).
He will take over from current chairman Jim Scotland, who is retiring after serving 10 years in the role.
Mr MacLeod is a self-employed consultant, with specialist skills in strategy facilitation, economic development strategy and business growth. He was appointed as a Napier Port Director in April 2014.
He has been appointed as chairman for a three year term,
effective from the Port’s Annual General Meeting on 15
December 2014.
