Flooding effects on Ministry of Social Development
Severe weather has forced the closure of four sites operated by the Ministry of Social Development in the Wellington region.
Work and Income sites in Kapiti, Lower Hutt, Wainuiomata and Porirua are all closed due to flooding. As heavy rain continues we are not yet able to assess when those sites will reopen.
Clients needing to contact Work & Income or the Ministry in the Wellington region should call 0800 559 009 for updates or to make alternative arrangements.
