New Manager/Group Controller appointed for Emergency Management Southland
A new Manager/Group Controller has been appointed to Emergency Management Southland.
Angus McKay will come to Southland from Auckland where he’s spent the last 3 years as Head of Emergency Management Operations and Alternate Group Controller. Prior to this, Angus spent 14 years with the Police in Wellsford (north of Auckland) and Manchester (UK).
“We’re very fortunate to have attracted a candidate of this calibre to Southland. Angus’ skills and experience will make him a valuable asset to the Emergency Management team,” says Environment Southland’s Chief Executive Rob Phillips.
Angus will take over from Neil Cruickshank, who has been in the role since 2006. Angus will take up the position on Monday 27 July.
