Belgian Beer Café Torenhof – Winemakers’ Dinner Series
For immediate
release
2 June 2016
Christchurch beer barons Belgian Beer Café Torenhof are set to take your tastebuds on a gastronomic odyssey with the introduction of their Winemaker’s Dinner Series* starting on Wednesday, June 22 with Martinborough Vineyard.
Each of the delectable dining experiences over the following four months will combine a specially-created four-course menu perfectly paired to a flight of fantastic wines from some of the country’s (and Australia’s!) best wineries – including national favourites Pegasus Bay Winery, Marisco Vineyards and Wither Hills – for just $85 per person (or $75 prepaid).
Belgian Beer Café Torenhof executive chef Friedrich (or Fred to his friends) will be creating unique and sensational hearty, seasonal Euro-influenced dishes with a Kiwi twist and expertly matched to each signature wine presented, while a representative from each of the winemakers will talk guests through each wine and course match, provide tasting notes and answer any questions.
Be sure to follow Belgian Beer Café Torenhof on Facebook to take advantage of some exceptional pre-registration offers and contact the team to find out about their incentives on attending all four dinners.
And if that wasn’t enough, the team at Belgian Beer Café Torenhof will also double your pleasure in July when they celebrate Belgian National Day over three evenings with their three-course shared table Flemish Provincial Banquet*, including your choice of either a 250ml Hoegaarden or Leffe Blonde/Brune, or a glass of Wither Hills wine of your choice for $58 per person (or $50 prepaid by Thursday, 7 July), ensuring a satiating winter of content for the lucky attendees.
