Bridge repair works nearly over in Queenstown Lakes
District, daytime closures next week
The final stage of the current deck repairs to the single lane Luggate (Red) Bridge on SH8A between Wanaka and Tarras will resume next week - Tuesday, 14 August.
To carry out the remaining works safely in daylight, and to remove the scaffolding, the bridge will be closed from 9am to 5pm on Tuesday, 14 August and Wednesday, 15 August.

The works are weather dependant so Thursday 16 August is
reserved as a contingency day.
• Detours will
be in place via Camp Hill Road.
• Drivers will
be re-directed with temporary detour signage.
The Transport Agency thanks everyone for their patience
and for taking care during the works in recent
weeks.
