Christmas Parade closes SH1 through Kawakawa on Saturday

The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that SH1 through Kawakawa in Northland will be closed for a Christmas Parade on Saturday, 1 December.
The closure will be between 11am and 1pm. There will be signposted detours in place for north and south bound traffic. Motorists are urged to follow the directions of traffic managers and keep to the speed limit.
The detour routes are not suitable for heavy vehicles. Drivers are asked to park in the designated area until the highway reopens.
