Timaru District Council URGENT CONSERVE WATER NOTICE
This is an urgent conserve water notice from the Timaru District Council.
Following the bad weather earlier in the week, we have been unable to take enough water from either of our sources to meet demand, so are at risk of having to put a boil water notice in place.
Everyone can do their bit to avoid this. Please conserve water urgently over this weekend.
Please stop all outdoor water usage.
Please limit domestic water use. Keep showers as short as possible and only run appliances when completely full.
Every drop counts.
Industry and commercial users have also been asked to significantly lower their water use.
