State Highway 7 between Springs Junction and Lewis Pass has reopened after a closure earlier this morning due to snow.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution through the area because of the ongoing winter driving conditions.
9.20am – SH7 closed by snow
State Highway 7 between Springs Junction and Lewis Pass is closed this morning because of snow.
Road users are advised to delay their journeys or use an alternate route.
An adjoining section of SH7 – between Lewis Pass and the Hanmer Springs turnoff – is open but remains subject to an area warning due to strong winds.
