Popular Art Book Out of Print Again
Yet again The Art of Grahame Sydney published by Longacre Press is out of print. Described as New Zealand's best selling art book of a single artist The Art of Grahame Sydney features the best of 25 years of Dunedin artist, Grahame Sydney's work.
"On the Road", an exhibition of Sydney's work has been on tour throughout the country since July 2000. Now on show at the Auckland City Art Gallery till late August the exhibition has attracted record crowds.
Following its success at the 2000 Montana New Zealand Book Awards where it won the Deutz Medal for Non-Fiction and the Readers' Choice Award the book has been short-listed for the 2001 Booksellers' Choice Award.
A third print run of The Art of Grahame Sydney has been ordered by publisher Longacre Press and is expected to be available in late August.
