ALL BLACKS VS WALLABIES THE GREAT DEBATE ‘THERE’S NO WAY THOSE GUYS ARE BETTER THAN US’

New Zealand Rugby fans are about to witness some charity events like no others… three furious battles of wits and wisecracks called The Great Debate-‘There’s no way those guys are better than us’ to be held in Auckland (7pm Thursday 28th November), Wellington (12noon Friday 29th November) and Christchurch (7pm Friday 29th November)

With only 12 months until the eagerly-awaited World Cup, The Great Debate is guaranteed to stir the fire and passions of even the fiercest Bledisloe Cup stoush. Lining up for New Zealand are former All Blacks, Stu Wilson and Andy Haden and well known raconteur, Jim Hopkins. The Australian team will comprise former Wallabies Phil Kearns, David Campese and Peter FitzSimons. Colin ‘Pinetree’ Meads will judge, MC is Paul Holmes and Angela Ayres will perform the National Anthem.

“I’m looking forward to putting on the black jersey again”, says Andy Haden “And with Stu and Jim taking position beside me, we will send those skippys back across the Tasman with their tails between their legs!“

Auckland – 7pm, Thursday 28th November 2002 at Sheraton Auckland Hotel and Towers - in aid of the Starship Foundation, raising funds for the Starship Heart Unit . Tickets $200

Wellington – 12 noon, Friday 29th November 2002 at The WestpacTrust Stadium in aid of skylight, supporting young people who are facing change, loss and grief. Tickets $150

Christchurch – 7pm, Friday 29th November 2002 at WestpacTrust Centre, Jack Hinton Drive, - in aid of IHC & The Rugby Union Foundation of New Zealand Inc. Tickets $200
