Leading male was All Black and two-try star of the weekend's NPC final Doug Howlet whose kisses fetched $165. Paul Holmes' fetched $101 as did the kisses of Erika Takacs with the kisses of surprise package Colin Meads hitting the $100 mark.
L'Oréal Paris managing director Francis Stead thanked everyone who bid at the auction.
"We are truly amazed at the generosity of everyone involved from the well-known and loved New Zealanders who so generously donated their kisses to the people who bid for them.
