English comes to http://www.ledefi.com

The French America’s Cup Challenge team, LE DEFI AREVA, has just launched an English version of its much-lauded website http://www.ledefi.com.

This is the first time since the internet site was created in 1999 that an English version has been posted for the benefit of international visitors.

The English version is more simple than the original, containing only essential information about the French team. Today, anglophone visitors can access all the latest news as well as exclusive features written by journalists inside LE DEFI AREVA team.

"We realised during the last Cup that there was interest in LE DEFI outside of France, so we wanted to make sure that English-speaking visitors to the site could access good information this time around", says Project Manager of http://www.ledefi.com, Benoît Baume.

"The English version has opened the doors of LE DEFI AREVA to a much wider audience. We launched only three days ago, and we have already had an impressive number of hits. Go to http://www.ledefi.com/index_en.php3 or simply log onto the home page of http://www.ledefi.com, click on the British flag in the top right hand corner and away you go", he says.

The photo library has more then 400 photos which are also available to English-speaking viewers, as well as free-of-rights photos which can be downloaded from the Press Room.
