Acclaimed European curator Marja Bloem offers her unique insight into the work of Colin McCahon. This special guided tour is a rare opportunity to hear about McCahon's practice from an international perspective.
Gordon H. Brown - Elements of Modernism in McCahon's Early Work 6pm, Thursday 12 December 2002
Hear fellow artist, friend and distinguished McCahon scholar, Gordon H. Brown, discuss the work of Colin McCahon. He will consider how McCahon adapted examples of European modernist art in his early work, drawing on his extensive knowledge of McCahon's practice and his in-depth understanding of modernist art history and theory.
