Tama Waipara - Manhattan Maori Musician to perform at Fringe Festival
New York based New Zealand musician, Tama Waipara (from the documentary "Manhattan Maori") has returned home to give a special preview of his album being released internationally in 2003. Tama returns after a sellout show in New York city and recent recordings in both Germany and New York with record label ObliqSound.
For this premiere, Tama will work with NZ's finest contemporary musicians including Silver Scroll Award winner Godfrey De Grut (New Loungehead, Che Fu and the Krates).
