Stellar Fringe Award Nominees Announced
The artistic glitterati of Wellington will walk the carpet at the Paramount Theatre in Courtenay Place from 2.30pm, Sunday 9 March to celebrate the 2003 Fringe NZ Stellar Awards.
Awards range from Radio Active Hot Young Thing Award to the V Most Energetic Performance Award, along with Theatre, Comedy and Dance Awards. The finale of the night is the endowment of the Pelorus Trust Creativity Award, which includes a prize of $2000.
“This Fringe has been full of awesome works,” said Tim Renner, Fringe NZ Director. “The judges had impossibly hard choices to make.”
Media are welcome to attend the awards ceremony, nominees will be on hand for interviews and this is the perfect opportunity to do a Fringe NZ wrap-up spot - a fast glimpse at the ten fast years themed festival.
