MIDI for Music Industry Success
MIDI for Music Industry Success
MIDI, an industry-led and community inspired organisation, is committed to local music industry success, MIDI trustees said today.
MIDI – the Music Industry Development Initiative – was formed when key industry players saw the need for the industry to lead itself to success.
MIDI will help local music industry plug into larger markets by creating an environment for the local music industry that promotes: Investment, Employment, and Business opportunities.
MIDI will help develop local music industry infrastructure and provide an industry framework for local and international success. This will mean people who want to make music their living can succeed and have the tools to succeed.
With support from Wellington Mayor, Kerry Prendergast, MIDI is organising the inaugural Wellington Music Week during October 2003. Major highlights will be The Windys Music Awards and Music Trade Show.
