Inspiring unveiling at Lake Tekapo
The Mackenzie Heritage Centre is unveiling its inspiring new brand on site on Saturday 6 December. Trust Chairperson Richard Stubbs said the branding will be unveiled on a sign that will mark the site of the new Heritage Centre in Tekapo.
"The land for the centre has been generously gifted to us by Andrew and Karen Simpson and their family. The signage reinforces the reality of the project, which is starting to gain some real momentum," Mr Stubbs said.
Project Director Malcolm Anderson noted that the new brand and tag line was a "perfect match" with the Centre's targeting of interactive travellers.
The unveiling takes place at 11.30 am and will include a barbecue lunch with the local community. If the weather is unsuitable, the function will take place in the Lake Tekapo Community Hall.
