Napoleon Is Coming To Town!
Wellington will get a preview of the exciting new family stage show Napoleon and the chicken farmer at the first Storyline Festival Free Family Day on Saturday June 19 at the Westpac St James.
Following the sneak previews, look-a-like competitions for children will be held at 11.15am, 1.15pm and 2.15pm. Dress up as the diminutive emperor for a chance to win tickets to the show and copies of the book Napoleon and the chicken farmer by Lloyd Jones and Graeme Gash.
This is the latest
original, home-grown family show from Maclary Theatre
Productions. As in previous years it has been created by
Paul Jenden and Jan Bolton and stars Jackie Clarke, one of
New Zealand’s top entertainers. Napoleon and the chicken
farmer opens in Wellington at the beginning of the July
school holidays for six performances only on July 3 and 4 at
the Opera House. Bookings at Ticketek.
