First ever winners of the CUBE to be announced
The winners of New Zealand’s very first event of its kind to target the creative sector will be announced this Friday, giving entrepreneurs the chance to help the Auckland region thrive.
The CUBE competition is an initiative to identify and develop ideas to foster creativity and innovation in the region. Entrants from throughout New Zealand chose to submit business ideas for one of two categories, Commercial or Not-for-private-profit.
From the 16 finalists selected, two in each category will win a $50,000 finance package to boost their businesses. They will also have access to some of New Zealand’s top innovative minds through a mentoring and development programme.
The CUBE awards, a joint project between a group of both private and public investors, will be presented by Prime Minister Helen Clark.
