Ultramarathon Man - 60 Minutes - Tonight
He has eaten entire pizzas while running, has had to use a mask to breathe while racing in the South Pole so his trachea wouldn't freeze in the cold air, and has had to conquer intense psychological pain barriers to achieve the goals that he has set himself. So what gave Dean Karnazes the drive to become the ultramarathon man that he is?
Ultramarathon Man, Dean Karnazes, will be interviewed on 60 Minutes, tonight at 7.30pm on TV3.
His book, Ultramarathon Man, published by Allen & Unwin, is available in all good bookstores.
