New Prime Drama Backed By NZ On Air
Prime Television is delighted to announce that Whale Rider maker, South Pacific Pictures, is developing a new drama series for the network with substantial funding from NZ On Air.
Interrogation (13x60') is described as a gritty police drama, which NZ On Air is backing to the tune of almost NZ$3m with support from Prime Television as well.
"This is compelling drama, based on actual police techniques and legal principles," said NZ On Air CEO, Jo Tyndall.
Prime Television's programming Manager, Andrew Shaw said "Prime is thrilled to broadcast an innovative new dramatic series produced by the country's pre-eminent producers of home grown drama".
Interrogation will screen on Prime in 2005.
