Cardrona Set For 2005 Season
New snow and round the clock grooming mean skiers and boarders will enjoy good on-piste conditions from both the Macdougall’s and Captain’s Quads as well as the beginner’s area at Cardrona Alpine Resort’s opening day tomorrow (Friday).
“We’re expecting a good turn out from locals and visitors to get the first turns of the season,” said marketing manager Bruce McGechan. “A lot of work has gone into ensuring conditions are at their best possible. The new ticket office is up and running and it promises to be a great start to 2005.”
The current snow base is 20cm on the lower slopes and 30cm on the upper. For further information, visit www.cardrona.com.
