Cardrona All Go for School Holidays
Cardrona Alpine Resort today announced the ski area will be fully operational following the opening of the Whitestar Express quad chairlift in time for the start of the school holidays on Saturday (9 July).
“Full credit must go to our highly skilled grooming team who have spent day and night moving snow around and preparing the runs, as well as the roading department who also assisted in snow moving,” said Gary Husband, field manager. “Their hard work has allowed us to start the busy school holidays at full lift capacity. Preserving the snow over the last couple of weeks and Cardrona’s high altitude has also helped.”
Cardrona Alpine Resort is currently enjoying good spring snow conditions that, although not consistent with the time of year, are still providing plenty of enjoyment for visiting skiers and snowboarders.
