On Wednesday, 27 July 2005 the fourth annual Art Attack! will take place in Christchurch from 5pm to 8pm.
On this occasion 15 inner city galleries will open thier doors for you to experience the vitality of the arts while enjoying fine food and coffee generously supplied by three local caterers -- Julia Oakley Arts, Underground Coffee Company and The Sauce. The evening presents a wonderful way to visit new galleries, see new work and meet new people in a relaxed, social environment.
A free bus will circuit the inner city every 30 minutes to connect the High Street Precinct and the Cultural Precinct. The bus will depart from opposite CoCA at 5.30pm; 6.30pm; and 7.30pm and from opposite Alice in Videoland on High Street at 6pm and 7pm.
There is no cost to participate in this event. Galleries can be visited in any order. This event has been made possible by funding from the Christchurch City Council and Creative Communities Funding Scheme and was developed from an idea originally instigated by CoCA.
Please look out for fliers and posters around town. Otherwise contact us for more information. Many thanks and enjoy!
