15cm Of Fresh Snow And Still Falling At Cardrona
Cardrona Alpine Resort awoke this morning to 15cm of fresh snow and it’s still falling.
Cardrona Service Manager, Andy Chapman said everyone was delighted to see the snow.
“It really started snowing in earnest last night at around 9pm and it has snowed consistently throughout the night,” he said. “It’s all from south so is nice light dry snow and will pack down really well plus we’ve still got a few more hours to go yet. It’s just fantastic to see the whole mountain looking great covered in snow with big fat snowflakes falling through the air. We may see a bit more wintery weather during the week which will be just wonderful.”
