Visa Offers "Cinderella Man" Sneak Preview
Auckland, 2 September 2005 - Visa cardholders have the exclusive opportunity to attend a sneak preview of the movie Cinderella Man at 6:30pm, Monday 5 September at Village SKYCITY Cinema St Lukes.
Visa has secured the movie preview as a part of Visa Entertainment, a breakthrough entertainment rewards programme which provides cardholders with VIP treatment including exclusive access to a variety of entertainment offers.
The movie, starring Russell Crowe and Renee Zellweger, is set in New York during the Depression and is inspired by the life of legendary athlete Jim Braddock (Russell Crowe). Braddock, a once-promising light heavyweight boxer, is forced into retirement after a string of losses and has to accept a variety of dead-end jobs to support his wife, Mae (Renée Zellweger) and their children.
While never totally abandoning his dream of boxing, Braddock eventually ends up back in the ring going up against heavyweight champion of the world Max Baer, who is renowned for having killed two men in the ring.
This exclusive movie screening comes well in advance of the New Zealand release date scheduled for September 29 and is one of many entertainment offers available to Visa cardholders.
