Life on the political precipice!
PHANZA press release
Life on the political
precipice!
The election’s over, but not the waiting. And it’s not the first time this has happened.
In the aftermath of one of the closest and most controversial elections in years, the Professional Historians Association of New Zealand/Aotearoa (PHANZA) presents a ‘cliffhanger’ seminar series: Looking back, looking forward
The event will again be held at Blondinis bar in Wellington’s Embassy Theatre, following on from last year’s highly successful ‘Four on the Floor’ seminar series at the same location.
On Wed 28 September, fresh from his appearance on TVNZ’s Election Night Special, Professor Nigel Roberts from Victoria University will discuss past cliffhanging elections and the present one.
On Wednesday 5 October: a panel of three young politicians/activists (final line-up to be confirmed). They’ll talk about their recent election experiences and tell us what they think the future holds.
@ Blondini’s café and bar, upstairs at the Embassy Theatre, Wellington, Wed Sep 28 and Wed Oct 5, 7 p.m.
Free admission.
