Wellington’s World of WearableArt Televised
The inaugural performance of the 2005 Montana World of WearableArt™ Awards Show in Wellington will be screened at 4 p.m. on Saturday, 15 October, on TV One.
This one-hour television special will feature segments from the show, including interviews with World of WearableArt™ designers.
“This is a great opportunity for people to see this extraordinary performance if they weren’t lucky enough to see it live,” says Chris Lamers, General Manager Marketing for Positively Wellington Tourism. “For those who did get to see the live performance, the screening is an opportunity to catch the details they might have missed.”
The interviews with the designers also promise to be interesting, Chris says. “They’re very creative people who are passionate about what they do. Wellington really embraces that, and I think the city pulled out all the stops for this event.”
