Fashion week: Trelise Cooper And Barbara Lee
Air NZ Fashion Week: Trelise Cooper And Barbara Lee

Since its inception, Trelise Cooper has steadfastly kept to her initial business vision to design and produce creative, individual clothing for women aged 30-55. Cut to fit most women, she continues to produce distinctive, directional, treasured pieces.

Christchurch-based designer Barbara Lee is famous for designing sexy, fabulous suits for high-flying women. Sensual evening wear is another passion - a garment she gave to Miss New Zealand won "best gown" at the 1997 Miss World competition - and at her fashion week debut in 2003, she stole the show by sending sexy Nicky Watson down the catwalk in a red satin corset with a few strategically placed strands of organza, black fishnets and boots.
Barbara works with her husband William - a great source of support and inspiration - and a small team who share her passion.
