The new lottery game, Big Wednesday, has jackpotted after its second draw, with an even bigger set of prizes on offer next week, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Trevor Hall said tonight.

"Because Big Wednesday Division One has jackpotted, we will be able to offer players an even bigger overall prize next week.

"Big Wednesday players will be in to win:

- $2 million

- a Porsche 911 Carrera

- a Range Rover Vogue V8

- $50,000 worth of luxury travel every year for five years.

- $250,000 American Express Platinum card.

"We've got a great surprise for players this week. All the same 'goodies' that were on offer last week are still there, but added to that is an American Express Platinum credit card that comes loaded with $250,000 and exclusive members benefits.

"With this extra prize, the winner will never have to look at another price tag again. Not only that, they could shop in Paris, Beverley Hills or Milan using their luxury travel prize. They'll also have $2 million in the bank and a Porsche and Range Rover in the garage, now that's an ultimate lifestyle," says Mr Hall.

Although the big prize was not won tonight, a ticket sold at Cardz Magz n Lotto in Ellerslie, Auckland won Big Wednesday's Second Chance prize of a Mercedes Benz C240 Classic luxury car.

The winning serial number is 065-04712718-13XX.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from this store should check it immediately," Mr Hall says.

In addition, 40 players won Big Wednesday Division Three, correctly selecting five of the numbers drawn and winning $1,260 each. There were also other minor prize winners.
