16 November 2005
Crunch time for New Zealand performers.
Almost 900 performers throught New Zealand have registered to vote in a ballot which will determine wether NZ Actors Equity become a branch of the Australian Union - The Media Entertainment Arts Alliance.
"Following over a year of consultation with performers - which have included meetings, panel discussions, media debate etc we are now nearing crunch time. The ballot to New Zealand performers is going out, to be returned by 2 December and it is vital performers have their say so we would like a high response rate", says Teresa Brown of NZ Actors Equity.
