Ellerslie Flower Show: Outlook For Saturday – Fine
Ellerslie Flower Show: Outlook For Saturday – Fine!
Ellerslie Flower Show organisers expect strong attendance this weekend, with sunny skies, warm temperatures and afternoon cloud expected on both days.
Despite some initial concern there would be overwhelming numbers attending the Show on Saturday, organisers have revised this prediction.
Big crowds in the first three days have taken the pressure off the weekend. Show organisers forecast levels of attendance to be comfortable, providing an enjoyable experience for everybody.
Peter Cox, Ellerslie Flower Show General Manager says the flowers are blooming, the sun is shining and the Show is geared up and ready for a big weekend!
“We are overwhelmed with the very positive feedback we have had from the New Zealand public to this year’s Ellerslie Flower Show.
The response from international judges, exhibitors, sponsors and Show visitors is very consistent. We have received a lot of praise for a well-managed event and the very high standards of our major attractions.
We encourage those who’ve never experienced the Ellerslie Flower Show before to come and find out what all the fuss is about.”
The Ellerslie Flower Show 2005 is Like Never Before, with innovation, inspiration and floral delights. The Show blooms from 16-20 November at Auckland Botanic Gardens. Tickets can be purchased at any Ticketek outlet, by contacting 09 307 5000 (or your local Ticketek number), via the website www.ticketek.co.nz or at the gate.
