I, Keyboard is the latest aural creation by organist
Nigel Patterson, conductor and composer of last year’s
Ascension Band – winner of the Fringe Best Music Award 2005.
From February 13 – 15 Happy sees the premier of I, Keyboard, organist Nigel Patterson’s latest solo aural creation. I, Keyboard is an hour long trip aimed at challenging and expanding the boundaries of space, sound and vision.
“Imagine you’re seated patiently in a time-machine,” says Nigel Patterson. “All of a sudden your senses are overloaded with incredible sounds and light, your vision starts to blur, your body starts to shake.”
“You feel like you are being hypnotized and propelled into a world you never dreamed of.”
“A world of atonal fugues, walls of distortion, microtonal landscapes and rotating speakers.” This is the world of I, Keyboard!
“A multi-media sci-fi sound experience not to be missed!”
