And it’s only getting bigger and wilder and more crazy!

The week ahead sees a plethora of shows kicking off. Now is the time to strap on the Fringe seatbelt and go for gold as some magnificent gems are headed our way.

WEEK TWO beginning 20 February

Dance Dance Dance

Lingering Still from Strident, Perforum 06, Snapshots ’06, Sweets 1,2,3, Unsolved Crimnes of Art – Part 1 and Voices in the Void are all strutting their stuff this week. A primo week for all dance lovers. Real Hot Bitches continue to make their mark at random times and places.

Food of Lovers – Music

Why not check out Cantor Alex Stein all the way from Australia at Myers Hall, Jewish Community Centre. Treefrog performs at Happy – a regular long term Wellingtonian, well loved in the music scene.

Dramatics

Theatre goes ballistic this week! So many shows, so little time….but you have to see Lucas Myers in The Best of the Cromoli Bros at Bluenote – he’s come all the way from Canada just for you! Bats has the usual long list of shows kicking off including: Anything to Declare (solo show), Arctic Antarctic, Biscuit and Coffee (sounds yummy), Conspiracy 911, The Cottage, The Other Side of the Fence, SuperBeast and TWO.

Paramount the official Fringe Hub is hosting a number of acts including; Blood of the Lamb, Bush Fires, Couch Soup, Full of Sound of Fury, This Time Next Year.

Digging that aerial work - The Life of Eileen is at Shed 11. Improv masters Micetro and master of the spoken word - Newtown Spoken Word open next week. Theatre and dance intwined in Operation of the Sun at Studio 77 and backpacker Canadians thrill at the YHA Wellington with Reading Robertson Davies on Rangitoto. Visual Arts
