Shearer has point to prove
Fresh from a second-placing at the New Zealand Masters’ Games last week, Te Kuiti shearer John Fagan has a point to prove as he prepares for the New Zealand Shearing Championships.
In three Masters’ Games competitions, it was the first time he hadn’t taken home the gold medal.
Fagan is an organising committee member of the Championships, being held in Te Kuiti from March 30 to April 1, and was the inaugural winner back in 1985. Since then, his brother David Fagan has dominated the event.
