Best Jazz Album Tui Presentation Date Confirmed
The RIANZ Tui award for Best Jazz Album will be presented on the opening night of the Wellington International Jazz Festival, Thursday 2 November 2006.
It is the second year the trophy for Best Jazz Album has been awarded at a separate event to the main New Zealand Music Awards, helping to give the category - and artists - the attention and recognition they deserve.
Last year the Tui was presented at the Manawatu International Jazz and Blues Festival and won by the Kevin Clark Trio for The Sandbar Sessions.
