Shapeshifter's Soulstice Out Now!
**SOULSTICE OUT NOW**
Shapeshifter, heralded as a musical
phenomenon for their groundbreaking live shows, incredible
live instrumentation & organic approach to song writing,
have just released their latest album, Soulstice.
Soulstice showcases Shapeshifter’s signature drum and bass style fused with jazz, hip-hop and electronica.
Soulstice features Shapeshifter’s own P Digsss in his stunning soul styles. Further vocal contributions come from some of Aotearoa’s top vocalists including Ladi6, KP (Sunshine Soundsystem) & Kye (Budspells). Other featured musicians include Isaac Aesili (Solaa, Opensouls) on trumpet and Warren Maxwell (Fat Freddy’s Drop, Little Bushmen) on flute. Shapeshifter recorded Soulstice in a home studio in Kaikoura and it has been stunningly mixed by Evan Short (Concord Dawn).
To celebrate their album release, Shapeshifter will tour throughout New Zealand this September. In cutting-edge Shapeshifter fashion, they will be creating a unique experience as they perform with leading orchestras in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Their last five tours have sold out, and this tour is set to follow suit.
Shapeshifter’s highly anticipated new
album, Soulstice, out now!
