Bollywood glamour and style comes to Diwali
Neha Dhupia - Bollywood actress, sex symbol, model and former Miss India - will be the star attraction at this year’s Diwali Festival of Lights in Auckland this weekend.
Ms Dhupia is well known in India, crowned Miss India in 2002 before rocketing to Bollywood fame for her performance in the 2004 film Julie.
She has appeared in 22 Bollywood films and is considered one of the more revealing and risqué female actors working in contemporary Indian cinema.
Neha Dhupia is also the glamorous new face of the Police international label who signed her to spearhead their campaign on the Indian consumer market.
She will appear at the 2006 Diwali Festival of Lights at Britomart on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15. The festival is organised by the Asia New Zealand Foundation and Auckland City.
