The stars of the Big Day Out are coming out to play the night before at the official pre-party and the first thousand tickets to this exclusive gig are going into a draw to be won by Big Day Out ticket buyers.

The St James in Auckland will be rocking on Thursday 18 January with performances and dj sets from local and international Big Day Out acts. The line-up for this show will be announced over the next two weeks.

As yet there are no tickets going on sale for The Big Night Before The Big Day Out. We’re handing the first thousand tickets out to holders of Big Day Out tickets – but you need to get your Big Day Out ticket before 1 December to be in the prize ticket draw.

So if you’ve got a Big Day Out ticket already or are planning on buying one before then, and you want to get warmed up at The Big Night Before The Big Day Out, get along to the C4 or 91ZM websites to register for the draw.

“The Big Night Before The Big Day Out,” said promoter Campbell Smith. “Usually you’d expect to read a lot more nonsense from me in one of our press releases but I’m keeping my thoughts to myself for the moment.”
