Radio One's New Breakfast Team
Radio One 91FM Dunedin is pleased to announce the new Breakfast Team.
It is official Emma Dish is swanning off to South America and leaving us broken hearted. Tired of English and sick of early morning wake up calls, Emma is looking forward to learning Spanglish and registering at a Venezuelan Beauty School.
We’ll all miss her, but there is no need to worry ‘cos we have been plotting and scheming at Radio One Headquarters and have got great news for you all.
So, without further ado, Radio One 91FM is pleased to announce that the almighty Aaron ‘Tasty like a good bit of Crumpet’‘ Hawkins and James ‘Funny Side Up’ Gates will be taking the reins and easing you into the day with friendly banter, news, interviews and bucket loads of spectacular tunes.
Aaron has been wowing audiences around the world with his life changing Wednesday Drive Show, and impressing friends and foes alike as the award winning Music Editor for student magazine Critic. He also likes to dabble in the arts and is an acclaimed thespian in underground Dunedin theatre circles, as well as the DPAG Late Breakfast host on Saturdays.
Meanwhile, James has been impressing MissEmo1991 from Myspace with his Morrisey impressions and dissertation in Punk Rock. Besides that he is the News Director up at the Radio One office, so you just might learn a thing or two to talk about down at the country club.
The Radio One Breakfast Show. Better than a reheated day old pie.
