Calling all motorcycling teddy bears!
Calling all motorcycling teddy bears!
Spending the festive season in hospital is no fun, especially for children. The Honda Riders Club is looking for teddy bear donations and motorcyclists to help make Christmas special for these children.
On Sunday 17th December a convoy of festively decorated motorcycles will leave Albany and ride to Starship to deliver the bears. The New Zealand Police Blue Light group have already committed 300 teddy bears, which will be delivered by the riders.
Soft toy donations can be dropped off at any of the following locations; Albany Toyota, Gills Road, Albany Botany Honda, 9 Trugood Place, Botany Cyclespot Honda, Barry’s Point Road Takapuna Boyd Honda, 403 Te Rapa Road, Hamilton
Riders, with a teddy bear to donate should meet at Albany Toyota, from 10.00 am to decorate their bikes and riders in Christmas trim (byo), with the ride commencing at 11.00am
Following the hand over of gifts to the children there will be a sausage sizzle at Orakei Reserve, Okahu Bay. All welcome.
Ends.
