After Valentine’s Day
After Valentine’s Day
Don’t wait another year to show someone you love them is the advice from Relationship Services.
Relationship Services says it is important that people value and celebrate their relationships 365 days a year.
“Whether you mark Valentine’s Day or not, the really important thing is to make sure that your partner knows they are loved and appreciated throughout the year”, said Jeff Sanders, Chief Executive of Relationship Services.
A survey commissioned by Relationship Services showed that 82% of New Zealanders place a very high importance on partner relationships and that 72% find them very satisfying.
“It’s great that on Valentine’s Day we especially celebrate our relationship with our partner, but remember that maintaining a great relationship is often about the little things,” said Mr Sanders.
The survey highlighted that the most important aspects of a relationship were loyalty, being able to relax and be yourself around your partner, fun and laughter, supporting and listening to each other, and being valued for who you are.
Relationship Services counsellors work with couples throughout New Zealand helping them enrich their relationship and address difficulties.
