Moving Stress Can Now Be Managed
Moving Stress Can Now Be Managed
Kiwis move homes often, around once every five years on average. While the desire to move home is positive, the actual moving event can be daunting. Moving is stressful, rated right up there with death and divorce. Moving requires many activities from getting power and phone connected to organising insurance, helpers to do the moving work and cleaning the new property that’s about to become home.
Now a new free service has launched in New Zealand to help minimise the stress of moving into a new home. MoveEzy launched their new service last month after looking at similar models overseas and deciding it was time to simplify the hassle of moving for Kiwis.
“Moving home is an exciting time. We recognise its significance and have designed our service to ensure the hassle of moving doesn’t get in the way of the excitment” says Iain Henderson, Managing Director of MoveEzy NZ Ltd.
How does it work? You just call MoveEzy, they run though a list of information over the phone, and arrange all the new connections and quotes you may need to get moving organised. You do nothing else - MoveEzy does it all for you.
MoveEzy works with a large group of utility suppliers. It’s these suppliers who pay MoveEzy. By collecting your details and requirements once and sending your information electronically to many companies, MoveEzy frees up their call centres, reducing their costs.
MoveEzy is independent and will only connect you with service providers who are reliable and dependable, “it’s all about choice” says Henderson “we only connect to suppliers the customer is happy with”.
Once MoveEzy has transferred all your utilities, they can even arrange quotes for insurance, movers, house cleaning, arrange change of address notifications and more.
The service is even available online so you can arrange everything on your computer without having to talk to anyone. To try this new service just go to www.moveezy.co.nz, however you can always call 0800 MOVEEZY or even ask your real estate agent about MoveEzy for a more personal service.
