Sat May 5 The Press (Chch) present an interview with Martin Phillipps about the album Submarine Bells
Thursday May 10 Radio One 91FM Dunedin will feature a special on Martin and his music from 7-9pm www.r1.co.nz
Wednesday May 16 Martin and the band are interviewed and perform unplugged on Channel 9s Cow TV
Friday May 18 Martin plays solo at the Dunedin Public Library at lunchtime
Friday May 18 The Chills perform live at The Gluepot Bar Invercargill
Saturday May 19 The Chills perform live at Revolver Bar Queenstown

Waitaha Kapa Haka: Waitaha-South Island Kapa Haka Celebrates 60th Anniversary

With its geographical reach spanning most of the South Island, the event, held at the Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch, is geographically the biggest of the 12 kapa haka regions in New Zealand, and will showcase the best Māori cultural performances in the South Island. This year, the competition has the participation of 13 kapa haka teams, equalling the highest number in the event's history.
