Levin Big Prize Still Unclaimed
Four days after it was revealed a Lotto Powerball ticket sold in Levin had won $7.5 million, the prize remains unclaimed, says NZ Lotteries Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
"We are really looking forward to meeting our winner and helping them to fulfil their dreams.
"We encourage everyone who purchased a ticket from Levin Mall Lotto to check those numbers. To those who purchased their ticket there and have not checked it yet, I would say get on line at www.nzlotteries.co.nz, flick on to teletext or head to any NZ Lotteries retailer now," says Mr McLeay.
"If you are that winner and you are not sure what steps to take next, please call our Wellington office on 04 802 7000, we have people waiting to answer all your questions," he adds.
The holder of the lucky ticket has won a total of $7,575,893 with $7,288,657 from winning Powerball First Division and a further $287,236 from also winning Lotto First Division. The ticket shared a Lotto Powerball jackpot of $14 million with a ticket purchased in Christchurch. The Christchurch prize was claimed earlier this week.
The $7.5 million prize is the twelfth (equal) highest amount won on Lotto Powerball.
The winning Lotto numbers for last Saturday's draw were: 05, 06, 14, 19, 25, and 34 and the winning Powerball number was 8.
