Project K Celebrity Dinner Debate Tickets Available on Trade Me

The Youth Development Trust Wellington has, for the first time, made tickets for The Great Project K Celebrity Dinner Debate in Wellington available on Trade Me.


This year’s event features some of New Zealand’s finest celebrity debaters including Gary McCormick, Tim Shadbolt, Jeremy Corbett, Anna Kennedy and NZ Order of Merit Officers Ginette McDonald and Michael Hurst.

Held on the 22nd June at the Duxton Hotel, Wellington the moot “we need more women on top” is sure to create some controversy amongst the debaters.

MC Frankie Stevens will have the task of keeping the debaters in check while guests enjoy a sumptuous three course dinner and bid on a range of fabulous items up for auction.

Funds raised from the event will support Project K’s programme in the greater Wellington region.

Project K is a youth development programme designed to inspire 14 – 15-year-olds to reach their potential through building self-confidence, promoting good health and education and teaching life skills such as goal setting and teamwork - through a 14 month programme of consisting of wilderness adventure, a community challenge and mentoring. The programmes are a catalyst for positive change and help equip young people so they reach their potential.
