FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 11, 2007

Reality TV show to film at Mexicali Fresh in Prince’s Wharf

Fame hungry Kiwis won’t want to miss these three party girls and their camera crew!

America’s hot reality TV series, Project My World has chosen Mexicali Fresh in Prince’s Wharf as a hot spot to be featured in their Auckland segment. The hot young stars of the show and their crew will hit up the freshest party downtown this Saturday, June 16th from 10pm.

Project My World is a reality TV show based on three girls’ journey across the world to discover the real people behind the social networking web site MySpace. Each girl is charged with a different mission- Renee is speed dating across the globe, Shaina is looking for the best MySpace indie bands and Bridgetta is seeking out the craziest adventures and best hotspots.

“I can’t wait to introduce these ambitious girls to Auckland and Mexicali Fresh,” said Tyler Kerlin, Director of Mexicali Fresh downtown. “Our crowd will definitely relate to the mission of Project My World, we use the Mexicali Fresh MySpace to promote our parties and are really seeing it take off in New Zealand.”

Saturday nights at Mexicali Fresh have exploded over the past year, with hundreds of young Aucklanders flocking to this new party scene. Hip hop beats from DJ Alias- a renowned fixture of Auckland’s music scene and a member of the hip hop group Fast Crew - keep the dance floor packed until the early hours of the morning. A menu of Mexican beer, tequila, frozen mixed drinks and great Mexican food offer a fun and unique take on the traditional party scene.
