North Shore Lotto Powerball Player Wins a Red Hot $4.6 Million
A Lotto Powerball player who bought their ticket in Devonport on the North Shore won't be feeling the frosty bite of winter tonight after winning a red hot $4.6 million in Lotto Powerball, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
Tonight's winning Lotto Powerball ticket was purchased at Hayward's Paper Power in Devonport on the North Shore and is worth a total of $4,603,538, with $4,436,871 from winning Powerball First Division and a further $166,667 from also winning Lotto First Division.
"Despite the winter chill our winner's bank account will soon be hotting up when they claim their multi-million dollar prize," says Mr McLeay.
Mr McLeay's advice for the big winner is to write their name and details on the back of their ticket and then get in touch with NZ Lotteries Wellington office on 04 802 7000.
Five other Lotto tickets have also won Lotto First Division tonight, winning $166,667 each. The winning tickets were sold at the following stores:
* Caltex Orewa
in Auckland Greenwoods
* Paper Power in Auckland
*
Bayfair Lotto in Tauranga
* McCabes Toyworld & Post-Take
Note in Putaruru
* Whitcoulls Wellington Terminal in
Wellington
Strike Four has jackpotted tonight to an estimated $700,000 in next week's draw.
Tonight's Winning Wheel ticket was sold by Kelso Street Price Cutter in Tokoroa. The serial number is 656-37910563-20XX.
