Cock & Bull Comedy

Cock & Bull Comedy

10 years ago stand up comedy was in its infancy and we can't help but wonder if somehow the Cock & Bull helped to expose this growing and, now, well established industry.

Shortly after the Cock & Bull Ti Rakau Dr, now affectionately referred to as 'The Little Cock', opened its doors it became well known for its regular comedy features. As the shows became increasingly popular the small private bar at the rear of the Cock & Bull Ti Rakau Drive became too small to continue hosting these.

With the previous popularity of these shows the Cock & Bull are set to revive the Cocks Comedy Club at their Ellerslie and Newmarket venues later this month.

Funny men Tarun Mohanbhai and Jason Hoyt, join Andrew McClay for the re-launch set to take place at the Ellerslie Cock & Bull at 5pm on Sunday 29 July and at the Newmarket Cock & Bull at 7pm on Wednesday 01 August.

Tickets are available for sale at all Cock & Bull Pubs (Botany, Ellerslie, Hamilton, Lynfield and Newmarket) for $10 each. What better way to spend an evening with friends? Comedy, drinks and dinner in one of Aucklands best known and most welcoming venues.
